Aesthetics of the Everyday (2022) According to Barbara Flores, myths “are persistent because they are not questioned; they are persuasive because they offer a simplistic view of a complex reality; and they are unrealistic because they disguise the truth". This research project compares greenwashing tactics within the fashion industry as akin to this idea of myth, where marketing schemes are used to influence large groups of people. The outcome of this research is an interactive pamphlet that leads you through fashion's maze of half truths to new ways of thinking about our relationship with clothing.
